    The inaugural Nash Ranch Mud Mash is going to leave plenty of Reddings residents filthy for a good cause. It takes place in the form of a 5K mud run through the fields of Nash Ranch. The Shasta Library Foundation is the beneficiary, and proceeds will provide the libraries in Redding, Anderson and Burney with needed funds.

    Dedicated to leaving a legacy of musicianship and traditional values to the next generation, the California State Old Time Fiddlers Association of District 6 hosts events to showcase live music and local talent. Their Old Time Fiddle Jam & Open Mic is presented in a festival format and has one last performance for the year.
